- Appointment reminders (24-hour and 1-hour notices)
- Real-time professional arrival notifications and tracking links
- Job completion summaries and receipt links
- Rescheduling or cancellation notifications
- Account-related security alerts (e.g. password reset codes)
How consent is collected
Consent is collected at the following points in our service:
- During new account registration — a checkbox reads: "I agree to receive booking updates and notifications by text message. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
- During quote submission — the same disclosure is shown adjacent to the phone number field before the form is submitted.
- When a professional is assigned to a booking — a confirmation SMS is sent and includes opt-out instructions.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity. Customers with active bookings typically receive 2–6 messages per booking (confirmation, reminder, arrival, completion). You will not receive promotional or marketing messages unless you separately opt in to our promotions program.
Message & data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Imperial Garden does not charge for SMS messages. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
How to opt out
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages.
- Account settings: Log in and toggle off SMS notifications in your account preferences at any time.
- Contact us: Email info@imperialgarden.us with your phone number and request to be removed.
To re-subscribe after opting out, text START or update your notification preferences in your account settings.
